For this Descriptive Writing Assignment that was given to us by our teacher Mr. Jana. We had to take one of the characters in the scene and rewrite it (or something similar) from that person’s perspective.
I chose to do re-write the lady in the house that stayed in the house, with her books, even when Montag and the other firemen said to get out. But she didn't listen and she lite her match and made a casket her size.
"Act 5, Juliet finds Romeo on the floor lifeless." It was a dark and cold night. Inside was quite the opposite. Warm and cozy as a cat and a too comfy couch you'd think your on a cloud. Nothing beats a Shakespeare book while having a cup of tea. Later during the night, has i was getting ready for bed, i heard a noise in the distance, fire truck sirens and engines roaring like an angry mob. As i feared for many years has come. Everything froze around me like a warp in time. Tires screech to a hault infront of my house and firemen jumping out. Door slams open and i run to my library hoping the firemen will not find it. I had yelled at the firemen as they rushed into the room. Firemen grab me by my arms and hauled away and all i hear is fire crackling like pop rocks in a soda can. They escorted me out and i just fell to the ground crying. Firemen come out and tell me to get out. I just sit there, on my knees, not moving at all. They yell at me 'get out'. I stand up and shake my head side to side. Lift my arm and show the firemen a match and scratch it on the front porch and blur was everywhere around me.
